Joseph had a class project to do this past week. Every 5th grade student had to choose a president to represent. He did research and wrote a 6 paragraph paper with some interesting points of his president's life. Joseph chose Herbert Hoover. He then had to make a poster with interesting facts and pictures of his president. For the day of the presentation the students had to dress like their president and recite some information about their president when someone came up to them and pushed the "button" in front of them. Many of the classrooms in the school came into the cafeteria to walk through the Hall of Presidents. It was fun that Emme and Nicole both came through with their classes.
Joseph had a lot of spirit. He was the most animated speaker out of all the 5th graders. Word spread that "you have to go listen to that Herbert Hoover at the end of the row." It was fun to see him enjoy this presentation.
