Dress Up

While the kids were playing together one day they decided to play dress up.  The older girls are big enough now to dress up in old prom dresses of ours and my mom's old dresses.  Had to do a photo shoot.  And the boys even posed for me!

Joseph doesn't like cake, chocolate, brownies, but he does like cheesecake.  Happy Birthday Joseph!  We love you!

Priesthood of God

Because Joseph turned 12 he was now eligible to receive the Aaronic Priesthood (the lower priesthood which enables him to pass the sacrament).  After having an interview with the Bishop of our ward he was found worthy and ready for this great responsibility.  He was given this priesthood by the laying on of hands from his dad.  It was a very sweet experience for our family.  We are so proud of him!  He has taken this privilege seriously and was so nervous the night before and morning of knowing he was going to have this great gift to participate in the Lord's work and represent the Savior while participating in the sacrament.

Joseph turned 12 on June 12!  He really wanted a man's watch for his birthday, not digital and cool stuff on it. We looked and looked and finally found this one he loved.  And of course PSP games are always on the list.  Love you!

Las Vegas

Our first night on our trip was Las Vegas.  We stayed at Paris since it was my birthday.  The hotel was fabulous and the best thing was Sugar Factory right outside the door.  We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and some treats.  The kids used their sugar sticks as wands. (Too much Harry Potter) The Bellagio was across the street and the girls walked with me to do a photo shoot!

Hoover Dam

As we traveled up to Washington for a visit, we went through Nevada and stopped at the Hoover Dam.  It was kind of cool for Joseph because he had done a report during school on Herbert Hoover.  It is lovely, very windy and the parking to stop and look is far from the overlook.  Oh well, we've been there!  Would need much more time to reallly get to check it out but I think we were all satisfied.

Emme's Kindergarten Graduation

Emme finished KINDERGARTEN!  This is her fabulous teacher Mrs. Standage who she just loved and had a wonderful half a year with her.  We were so blessed to have great teachers and a great school with this move to Arizona.  Congratultions Emme!  We love you!
